“I stole this 'do not disturb sign' from the historic US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego. It was a work trip ~ probably around 2005. It’s a lovely, huge, grand old hotel with lots of dark wood built in 1910. That was before I imagined moving to New York on a whim later that year and before I knew I would wind up moving out to San Diego after a few exciting but soul grinding years in NYC.” Manhattan 2007.
